pretty vintage hats..

We stumbled upon some absolutely lovely vintage hats this week.  I can't even put into words, how excited I get over a beautiful vintage hat.  They are so well made, and always incredibley glamorous.  All of these beauties are very elegant in their shape and material. ode to jane russell

My heart sank a bit, when I heard the news that the iconic Jane Russell passed on today.

She was by far one of my favorites from that wonderful era.  So beautiful... 

so much grace.  And she seemed to not only be gorgeous, but intelligent as well. 

I wish I could have known her...

RIP Jane..
